True Blue was thoughtfully designed for pros, with a variety of cutting-edge features that simplify installation and quarter-turn test plugs that make testing easier than ever. Many bath waste installations are performed in tight quarters with limited visibility or little room to maneuver. True Blue improves the process with a set of integrated features to make the job smoother. Installation is fast and easy with preassembled components that allow you to go from box, to test, to finishing the job in no time. The reusable overflow test plug is approved for up to 40 ft. of head pressure and doubles as a trim veneer installation tool. True Blue's overflow gasket is made with an innovative foamed rubber material and provides better compression and memory than traditional gaskets, creating a more reliable seal that will rebound and prevent leaks. The overflow cover locks with a simple clockwise turn, requiring no additional tools or screws for installation. And with depth adjustability, it can accommodate various tub styles and thicknesses with an additional clockwise turn. While other overflow covers require screws and precise alignment, True Blue is a perfect install every time. What materials are the bath waste/overflow available in?

There are four materials to choose from: 17 gauge brass tubular Polyethylene plastic tubular PVC full and half kits ABS full and half kits

How is a bath waste/overflow tested for leaks after installation?

If you are just replacing an existing bath waste/overflow with a new one, a draining test will work. This test is completed by closing the stopper and filling the tub with cold water until it starts to flow through the overflow plate, and then shut off water and inspect all connection points behind the tub. Use cold water for energy savings. If the bath waste/overflow are part of a larger plumbing system installation, reach out to your local building officials to find out what type of test is required.
